Last updated 2026. This policy explains how HR247 handles personal data.
HR247 is a workforce-management platform used by organisations ("employers") to manage their staff. Employers are the data controllers of their staff's information; HR247 acts as the data processor providing the software.
On behalf of employers, HR247 stores staff information such as name, contact details, email, date of birth, next-of-kin and emergency contacts, employment details, attendance records, salary and bank details (where payroll is used), KPIs and appraisal records.
Data is used solely to provide HR functions to the employer: attendance, payroll and payslips, performance management, salary payouts, and internal communication. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.
When geofenced clock-in is enabled, the app reads a device's location at the moment of clocking in only, to confirm the staff member is within the office perimeter. Location is not tracked continuously.
Salary payouts are processed through Paystack. Bank account details are used only to verify accounts and make payments the employer authorises.
Data is stored on the employer's dedicated deployment and protected as described on our Security page. Each organisation's data is isolated from others.
Documents or photographs attached as evidence to a "See Something Say Something" report are stored on your employer's own deployment, outside the public web root and under randomised file names. They are readable only by the person who submitted the report and by staff authorised to handle reports.
A report made through "See Something Say Something" records who submitted it, but the reporter is displayed as Anonymous on every screen, including to HR and heads of department. Only an administrator can reveal a reporter's identity; doing so requires a written reason and is recorded permanently on the report.
Your employer administers your account. To request deletion of your personal data or your account, contact your organisation's HR or administrator, who can remove it from the system. If you cannot reach them, email olajidewilson@gmail.com and we will route the request to the correct data controller. Attendance and payroll records that an employer must keep for statutory or tax purposes may be retained for the period the law requires.
Staff may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal data by contacting their employer's HR/administrator. Employers control retention and deletion of their organisation's data.
